The people of Oxbow make it a special place. Partners and tenants are selected with that in mind—this a place where we want to spend our time, a place that inspires us.
Brought to you by Seattle restaurateur Marcus Lalario and James Beard award-winning chef Matt Dillon, Ciudad is an eclectic, grill-focused restaurant and bar with a compelling vision extending to both menu and interior design.
Just inside the entrance to Ciudad you'll see the outdoor charcoal grill as you pass through to the dining room. Meats & vegetables cook over the coals and are complimented with small plates & sauces; flavors are influenced from all over the globe. General Manager Jonathan Fleming insists that the kitchen team makes everything fresh here, from flatbread to their black garlic sauce. Everything is meant to be shared.
Bar Ciudad is a cozy bar with a spacious outdoor courtyard. When the weather is fair, or when the fire pit is going, patrons can sit outside, order refreshments from the walk-up window, and watch the planes land.
Recently renovated, Bar Ciudad serves savory rotisserie chicken alongside their tasty and inventive cocktails.
Lockwood & Sons
Lockwood & Sons is a design/build team focused on handmade furniture and interiors projects for public installations and museums, retail environments, historic redevelopment projects, and the home.
Recent commissions include a visitor center exhibit for the Seattle Central Library, a learning lounge for the newly expanded San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA), and a digital canvas framework for 4Culture's e4c—as well as artistic collaborations with artists like Mary Ann Peters and Saul Becker.
Additionally, Lockwood & Sons led and managed the entire Oxbow redevelopment project (in collaboration with architects Suyama Peterson Deguchi and Hank Dufour Construction). Many of the intricate details of the Oxbow environment were designed and hand-built by Tony Lockwood (Oxbow co-founder) and employee Marcus Crider.
